LAS VEGAS (March 16, 2017) – Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN), announced Thursday it has opened a new PT’s Gold in southwestern Las Vegas, the first of seven new taverns the company plans to open in Southern Nevada this year.
PT’s Entertainment Group, a division of Golden Entertainment, operates PT’s Gold. The company is Nevada’s largest traditional tavern operator with 54 taverns statewide, including 52 in the Las Vegas Valley.
Located in a newly built retail center at 7355 South Buffalo Drive near West Warm Springs Road, the newest PT’s Gold features award-winning dining choices, beverage options, and entertainment attractions that have made the PT’s brand a popular destination for locals.
Blake L. Sartini II, senior vice president of distributed gaming for Golden Entertainment, said the newest PT’s Gold – located near the Rhodes Ranch residential and golf community – will help bring entertainment into a long-standing neighborhood.
“The opening of Golden Entertainment’s 54th tavern is the first step in our 2017 development plan to grow the company by bringing the PT’s business model into neighborhoods seeking entertainment choices,” Sartini said. “Our 2017 development plans follow the company’s growth activities in year ago in which we opened five new taverns.”
Sartini added, “By the end of 2017, Golden Entertainment will operate 60 taverns in Nevada.”
Five of the new taverns will be located in the growing southwest region of Clark County. A sixth location is in the City of Las Vegas’ northwest area near Centennial Hills. The seventh tavern is in the Green Valley Ranch section of Henderson. The seven locations include six greenfield developments plus the acquisition of an existing tavern operated by a third party.
The company’s tavern brands include PT’s Pub, PT’s Gold, PT’s Ranch, PT’s Brewing Co., Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold and SG Bar.
The new tavern has 15 bar top video gaming devices, 18 high-definition televisions, seating for 74 in the dining area and 27 at the bar, and will employ 20 team members.
The PT’s Gold menu features a wide selection of appetizers, pizzas, salads, sandwiches and entrees. The beverage selection includes featured beers produced by PT’s Brewing Company. PT’s award-winning happy hour takes place daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. During happy hour, all PTEG taverns offer 50 percent off drinks and pizzas and select appetizers for $5.
